ABSTRACT SUBMISSION AND PRESENTATION GUIDELINES

PRESENTATION FORMAT
Papers will be presented as either oral or poster presentations within the scope of the congress.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
Abstract submissions must be made through the congress website: https://sciencenext.org/mirkotos2025/.

Please consider the following guidelines when submitting your abstract:

  • All abstracts must be submitted in either Turkish or English via the online submission system.
  • Submissions will only be accepted through the congress website. Abstracts sent via email will not be evaluated.
  • The presenting author must be registered for the congress in order for the abstract to be accepted. Each registered participant may present up to two abstracts (one oral and one poster).
  • Submitted abstracts must include the full names of the authors, their highest academic degrees, and a title not exceeding 50 characters. Institutional affiliations, departments, and city names must be listed in order. For multi-center studies, symbols should be used to indicate different institutions. Full contact details (including mailing and email addresses, phone and fax numbers) of the corresponding author must be provided at the bottom of the abstract.
  • The submitted work must not have been previously presented at any international meeting or published in any national or international journal.
  • Abstracts should clearly state the aim, type of study, results, and conclusion. They must not exceed 250 words and should follow a structured format: Objective, Methods, Results, and Conclusion.
  • After the abstract text, six keywords aligned with NLM MeSH terms must be included (http://www.nlm.nih.gov/mesh/MBrowser.html).

 

ABSTRACT REVIEW AND PUBLICATION

  • Abstracts may be presented in Turkish or English.
  • Upon submission, authors will receive an electronic confirmation of receipt.
  • All abstracts will be peer-reviewed by at least three scientific reviewers designated by the Scientific Committee. The Committee will determine the acceptance status and the presentation format (oral or poster).
  • For experimental and clinical studies, authors must declare ethical approval in writing and provide the document upon request by the Scientific Committee.
  • Accepted abstracts will be compiled into a congress Proceedings Book, which will be made available for download as a PDF on the congress website after the event.
  • Abstracts of authors who are not registered for the congress or who do not present their work in person will not be included in the Proceedings Book.

 

ABSTRACT AWARDS
Accepted oral and poster presentations will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee for the Prof. Dr. Mirko TOS-INNEREAR Awards. The top three studies in the field of hearing and balance research will be selected regardless of the study type.

 

PRESENTATION GUIDELINES

  • Accepted abstracts will be presented as either oral or e-poster presentations.
  • Presentations must be prepared in either Turkish or English.
  • Oral presentations should be prepared in electronic format (e.g., PowerPoint, Keynote, Prezi).
  • Oral presentations are limited to 10 minutes.
  • Poster presentations must be submitted as e-Posters.
  • Following the abstract evaluation and acceptance, a poster template will be published on this page. Posters must be prepared using this template.
  • Once an abstract is accepted, it cannot be withdrawn. Accepted abstracts that are not presented will be removed from the Proceedings Book.

 

E-POSTER GUIDELINES

  • Posters will be displayed digitally; there is no need for printed versions.
  • Posters must be prepared in PDF format.
  • The layout must be in portrait orientation.

  • Only PDF files will be accepted.
  • After your abstract is accepted, you will receive a submission link by email to upload your poster file to the system.
